The book is well organized. Each chapter has learning objectives with key concepts. Each chapter is divided into smaller units. Each unit has brief assessments for students. The end of each chapter has a DECA activiity with matches DECA events.
This textbook matches state core standards. A few of the chapters do not have concepts that match state standards, but provide useful marketing information.
We would recomend a comprehesive project correlated to each chapter as a summative project that may be used as an assessment. An example would be a marketing plan developed from each chapter. The publisher should provide an example for the students to follow matching each chapters concepts.
